Andrew Last, MFT Intern
Andrew Last is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern who sees clients in Rancho Bernardo, Mission Valley and Carlsbad.
He received his Master's degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. Andrew was a Missionary for four
years, planting house churches in Florence, Italy and in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In Amsterdam, he initiated and directed a
large-scale social justice project called Serve the City that focused on serving the poor and disenfranchised.
Andrew is committed to helping couples, individuals, and families find relational joy and security. His passion is to help
people discover relational, spiritual, and physical health. Andrew and his wife have been married for four years and have one
child.
Counseling
Andrew offers counseling for individuals, couples, and families of all
backgrounds. His primary theoretical orientations are Emotionally Focused Therapy and Contextual Therapy.

Education
Andrew received his BA in Psychology from Point Loma Nazarene University and his MS in Marital and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. His clinical training was at a non-profit mental health agency where he treated individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children. He received specialized trainings from Sue Johnson in Emotionally Focused Therapy and from Terry Hargrave in Restoration Marital Therapy. Andrew is a certified Family Wellness Instructor and is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
